Your hormones don’t exist in a vacuum. Neither should your lab work. The Complete Health Panel goes beyond hormones into the metabolic, thyroid, and cardiovascular markers that most providers ignore. Fasting insulin, full thyroid function, lipid panel, blood sugar control. This is root cause medicine: identify what’s broken across multiple systems, not just slap testosterone on symptoms and hope it works.

Full Thyroid Panel (T3, T4, TSH). Thyroid dysfunction mimics low testosterone symptom for symptom. This is where we find out if thyroid is contributing, compounding, or the primary driver.

Fasting Insulin. Catches metabolic dysfunction 5-10 years before A1C shows a problem. We catch it while it’s still reversible.

Lipid Panel + Hemoglobin A1C. Cardiovascular risk and blood sugar control. The metabolic snapshot your provider needs to account for your whole health, not just testosterone.

FAQs

Common questions. Straight answers.

Where do I get my blood drawn?

At your local LabCorp. We send you a scheduling link after you order. Choose your location, book your time, show up.

How long does it take to get results?

Typically 2-4 business days. Most markers return quickly, but specialized tests like fasting insulin may take an extra day or two. We notify you when all results are in and schedule your consultation.

Do I need to fast before my blood draw?

Yes. 12 hours of fasting is required. This panel includes fasting insulin, A1C, and lipid panel, all of which need proper fasting for accurate results. Water is fine. Black coffee is acceptable. No food, no cream, no “just a small snack.” Schedule early morning and eat after your draw.

Why test Fasting Insulin when you’re already testing Hemoglobin A1C?

Because fasting insulin catches metabolic dysfunction years before A1C shows anything. A1C measures average blood sugar over 3 months. By the time it’s elevated, significant metabolic damage has already occurred. Fasting insulin reveals early insulin resistance while your blood sugar still looks “normal.” Most doctors only check A1C and miss the early window where intervention is straightforward.

What if I have metabolic issues? Can you still optimize my hormones?

Yes, and we should. Metabolic dysfunction and hormonal dysfunction usually coexist and worsen each other. Low testosterone contributes to insulin resistance and poor body composition. Insulin resistance suppresses testosterone production. We address both simultaneously. Fixing one while ignoring the other leaves you suboptimal.

Is this panel overkill if I just want TRT?

If you just want to qualify for TRT without addressing anything else, the Essentials Panel covers that. But if you want genuine optimization, not just hormone replacement, Complete Health is your baseline. Most men discover metabolic issues, cardiovascular risk factors, or nutritional deficiencies they didn’t know existed. Addressing these alongside hormone optimization produces dramatically better results than testosterone alone.
