TestDepot offers both subscription-based treatment plans and one-time purchases depending on the product. This page explains exactly how billing works, when you’ll be charged, and what happens if you need to cancel or request a refund.
How Billing Works
Subscription Plans: Many treatments are subscription-based with recurring billing. When you start a subscription plan, you’re enrolling in a plan that renews automatically.
- You’ll be informed about recurring billing before you’re charged. During onboarding, we explain that treatment plans are subscription-based. You’ll know exactly what you’re signing up for before your first payment.
- You’ll receive advance notice before each renewal. Stripe (our payment processor) sends automatic renewal notifications at least 3 days before each charge. No surprise charges.
- Your subscription continues until you cancel. Treatment plans renew automatically so your care isn’t interrupted. If you want to stop, let us know and we’ll cancel future charges.
One-Time Purchases: Some products are available as single purchases without a subscription. You pay once, receive your product, and that’s it. No recurring charges unless you reorder.
What’s Included in Subscription Pricing
Your subscription covers:
- Medication
- Supplies (syringes, alcohol wipes, etc.)
- Shipping (including temperature-controlled when needed)
- Standard ongoing lab monitoring per your treatment protocol
- Unlimited consultations and provider appointments
- Protocol adjustments and dosage changes
The price we quote is the price you pay.
What’s NOT included:
- Additional Labs: When dose adjustments or specific concerns require targeted retesting beyond standard protocol, you pay only for the specific tests needed (not full panels)
- Protocol Medications: Medications outside standard formulary (like tamoxifen for gynecomastia management) are billed at cost plus shipping
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. No penalties. No hoops to jump through.
To cancel: Email support@testdepot.com with “Cancel Subscription” in the subject line. We’ll confirm cancellation and stop future charges.
When cancellation takes effect: Your cancellation prevents future renewals. You’ll retain access through the end of your current paid period.
Refunds
Why refunds are limited: When you pay for a subscription, that payment covers compounding pharmacy costs for your medication, ongoing lab work, our support team, and provider time for your appointments. These costs are incurred immediately and are non-recoverable.
Monthly Subscriptions Non-refundable. Cancel anytime to stop future charges, but no refunds for the current billing period.
Prepaid Plans (Annual, Semi-Annual, Quarterly) The discounted rate on prepaid plans is for committing to the full term. If you cancel before the term ends, we recalculate your used months at the standard monthly rate and refund the difference.
Example: You pay $1,188 for an annual TRT plan ($99/month). You cancel after 2 months.
- 2 months at the monthly rate ($139/month) = $278
- Refund = $1,188 minus $278 = $910
You pay the rate you would have paid if you’d gone monthly from the start. The unused portion is refunded.
48-Hour Exception: If you contact us within 48 hours of a renewal charge AND no product has shipped, we may issue a refund at our discretion. Approved refunds are processed minus payment processing fees (approximately 2.9% + $0.30) and any applicable chargeback fees ($30 per chargeback). This isn’t guaranteed, but we’ll work with you if you catch it quickly.
Refund requests: Email support@testdepot.com. Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days.
Lab Testing
All diagnostic lab purchases are final and non-refundable. When you order labs, we immediately incur costs with our third-party lab partners that we cannot recover. No exceptions.
Prescription Medications
Prescription products cannot be returned. Federal and state regulations prohibit the return of prescription medications to compounding pharmacies for reuse or resale. All medication sales are final.
If there’s an error with your prescription: Contact us immediately at support@testdepot.com. We’ll address it promptly and make it right.
Shipping Issues
We cover shipping on all orders. If something goes wrong in transit (lost package, damaged product, delivery issues), we’ll reship at no additional cost. We don’t offer refunds for shipping problems. We fix them.
